Welcome to CleanSpacePros. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and cleaning services. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Overview

CleanSpacePros provides residential cleaning services in the Chicago metropolitan area. Our services include Standard Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, and Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning, along with various add-on services.

2. Booking and Scheduling

2.1 Making a Booking

When you book a cleaning through our website, you are requesting our services. Your booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation message from us, typically within 24 hours.

2.2 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking, including your name, contact information, service address, home size, and any relevant details about the cleaning needed. Inaccurate information may result in service delays or additional charges.

2.3 Access to Property

You are responsible for providing safe and legal access to your property at the scheduled time. If our cleaner cannot access your property, you may be charged a trip fee.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Pricing

Our prices are displayed during the booking process based on your home size and selected service. Prices are flat rates and include all standard supplies and equipment. Additional add-on services are priced separately.

3.2 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Homes significantly larger or dirtier than described
  • Excessive pet hair or specialized pet cleanup
  • Hoarding conditions or extreme clutter
  • Add-on services requested during the appointment
  • Homes with 4+ bedrooms ($10/bedroom surcharge)

We will contact you before proceeding if additional charges are needed.

3.3 Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the cleaning service. We accept major credit cards processed securely through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the agreed-upon services.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

4.1 Cancellation Policy

  • 24+ hours notice: Free cancellation or rescheduling
  • Less than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost may apply
  • No-show: Full service charge may apply

4.2 Our Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to cleaner illness, emergencies, severe weather, or unsafe conditions. We will provide as much notice as possible and work to reschedule promptly.

5. Service Expectations

5.1 Scope of Work

Our cleaners follow detailed checklists for each service type. Specific tasks are outlined on our website. If you have special requests, please include them in your booking notes.

5.2 What We Don't Do

Our standard cleaning services do not include:

  • Exterior cleaning (windows, patios, garages)
  • Heavy lifting or moving furniture
  • Biohazard or trauma cleanup
  • Pest control or mold remediation
  • Cleaning chandeliers or high fixtures requiring ladders over 6 feet
  • Organization or decluttering (unless add-on is selected)

5.3 Home Preparation

For the best results, we ask that you remove clutter and personal items from surfaces before your appointment. Our cleaners are not responsible for organizing or moving items.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you're not satisfied with any aspect of your cleaning, please contact us within 24 hours. We will send a cleaner back to address the areas of concern at no additional charge.

The satisfaction guarantee applies to the quality of cleaning work performed. It does not cover pre-existing damage, stains that cannot be removed, or areas not included in your service type.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Insurance Coverage

CleanSpacePros is fully bonded and insured. Our liability insurance covers accidental damage caused by our cleaners during service.

7.2 Damage Claims

If you believe our cleaner damaged your property, please notify us within 24 hours with photos and details. We will investigate and, if the damage is confirmed to be caused by our cleaner, we will repair or replace the item up to reasonable value.

7.3 Limitations

We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear
  • Items of extraordinary value not disclosed before cleaning
  • Damage due to defective or fragile items
  • Damage caused by improper installation of fixtures
  • Consequential or indirect damages

8. Safety and Conduct

8.1 Safe Environment

You agree to provide a safe working environment for our cleaners. Please secure pets, inform us of any hazards, and ensure working utilities (water, electricity).

8.2 Right to Refuse Service

Our cleaners may refuse to clean or leave the premises if they encounter unsafe conditions, harassment, illegal activity, or other situations that threaten their safety or wellbeing.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by CleanSpacePros and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first to resolve the issue directly. We are committed to addressing concerns fairly and promptly. Any disputes not resolved informally shall be subject to the laws of the State of Illinois.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
